Sloped ceiling. Yes, up to 45°. The canopy is gimballed, so the shade hangs plumb. Free adapter beyond that.

8 ft ceiling. Minimum overall drop is 18″ including the shade. The cord cuts to length with scissors.

Covers the old hole. Canopy 4.8″ across — a standard US 4″ junction box plus the ring a builder-grade flush mount leaves.

Dimmable. With the included 2700 K LED, on a standard dimmer. Ambient light, around 820 lm — not a main light.

Bathroom or covered porch? Dry location only. Our outdoor line is woven in resin fiber and damp rated.

Directly over a cooktop? Natural rattan holds a film there. Over the island, the sink or a table: fine. We'd rather say so.

What your electrician will need

Everything arrives pre-assembled in one carton. The wires are printed black / white / ground rather than blue and brown, the canopy covers a standard US 4″ junction box, and a leveling collar on the cord lets you turn the shade plumb with your fingers.
On a sloped ceiling the canopy pivots up to 45°; beyond that ask us for the free sloped adapter. On an 8 ft ceiling the minimum overall drop is 18″, so the bottom edge sits about 32″ above a 36″ counter.
Choosing the plug-in version instead means no electrician at all: 15 ft braided cord, inline dimmer and two swag hooks, nothing permanent.
Ninety seconds, twice a year

Vacuum on the lowest suction with the soft brush head: outside of the shade first, top to bottom, then tilt the brush up through the opening and run it around the inside rim once. Finish with a dry microfiber over the outer weave. That is the entire routine for a fixture over an island with a working range hood.
Where not to hang it: directly over the cooktop, or in a kitchen with no hood. Rattan does hold a film there and you will be annoyed.
Over five years natural rattan warms about half a shade toward honey. Most owners read that as patina; the white-washed finish holds its tone longer.

Ships from Houston, TX in 3 to 5 business days for everything marked In Stock. Free over $200. A backordered size shows the real restock week on this page, never “ships soon”.
Returns run 60 days from delivery. The prepaid label is already in the carton, there is no restocking fee, and the refund goes back to your card. We will not offer you a discount to keep something you don't want.
Damaged or missing parts are replaced next day. Send a photo of the carton and we ship the part — that is why there is an “inspect before you hang it” card on top of the box.

Every photo on this page is this fixture

No renders, no stock library, no studio-only shots. Shot in a real room, at this diameter, two hours apart.

6:40 pm · natural light

Day

Shown lit, at every diameter

Same room, same camera position, four diameters. The photo with a 5′6″ person standing underneath is the only honest way to show scale — and no one else in this category takes it.

8:15 pm · 2700 K

Night

And the shadow it throws

The same two hours later, dimmed to 40 %. A tight weave does not just filter light, it draws with it — that pattern on the ceiling is the fixture's, not a render.

Same shade, three rooms

Tone

Against white, oak and walnut

Rattan shifts tone with the wood next to it. Natural reads warm against white cabinets and disappears a little against oak. Check yours before you order.

Not sure this is the right diameter?

Three numbers and you have your answer: the width of your surface, the height of your ceiling, how many you want.

What are you hanging over?

How wide is it?

Ceiling height

How many pendants?

I'd returned two cheaper sets before this. The weave is tight enough that you don't see the bulb at all, and the pair actually match.

Kristen M. — 24″ pair, kitchen island

Our ceiling slopes maybe 30 degrees and I was braced for a fight. The canopy pivots, so it hung plumb first try. My husband checked the UL label before touching it — it's stamped on the socket housing.

Lauren H. — 24″, sloped ceiling

Three stars on light output, five on looks. It's mood lighting — it says so on the page, I just didn't take it seriously. Added two cans and now it's perfect. Honest listing though.

Monica C. — 18″, over the sink

About this pendant

The questions buyers actually ask, in order of how often.

Yes, up to 45°. The canopy is gimballed so the shade hangs plumb even when the ceiling isn't. Steeper than that, ask us for the sloped adapter — it's free, we just don't put it in every box.
